Terms and Conditions

Booking and payment
All bookings will be confirmed by email unless otherwise requested. KIDACTIVE accepts payment by cash, bank transaction and childcare vouchers. Full payment is required at the beginning of each new school term.

Cancelling your child's place
Four working week's notice by email is required to cancel a place or reduce sessions. If you give less than four working weeks' notice we regret that no refund is available.

Inset days
You will not be charged for a pre arranged school inset day.

Teacher strike
Due to schools striking voluntarily you will be charged for a booked session as the club will be open for service.

Absence
If your child is absent due to sickness/ injury/ school trip or holiday/vacation then you will be charged for a booked session.

Releasing children to strangers
We will not release children into the care of a person not recognised to our staff. If you are arranging for your child to be collected by another person please contact us stating a password.

First aid and medication
In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to children in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary. Essential medication must be handed in to the staff for safe-keeping. You will be required to complete the relevant form. In accordance with Ofsted recommendations, we ask parents/carers whose children carry an Epipen to arrange for a qualified medical practitioner to demonstrate use of the Epipen to our on-site first aider, on their first day. If this is not possible then we will accept a demonstration given by a parent/carer instead. Essential medication must be handed to the club Leader for safe-keeping.

Photography and videos
We occasionally take photographs/videos of children attending our clubs for promotional material. If you object, please inform us when booking.

Equal opportunities and safeguarding of children
KIDACTIVE is an equal opportunities provider and welcome all children regardless of their gender, ability, race or religion. Each child attending our clubs is of equal value and is entitled to equal access of opportunity. KIDACTIVE has legal obligations in relation to Safeguarding (child protection). Any suggestion of child abuse will be reported to the relevant legal authorities immediately.

Specific needs
It is our policy not to exclude any child due to specific needs, wherever possible. The needs of each child vary, so decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, depending on the level of support each individual child requires to enable them to fully participate in and enjoy activities at any of our clubs. We request that parents of children with specific needs contact Head Office to discuss how we can best accommodate their child, and consider whether any special arrangements need to be made. We are happy to accommodate the child on a trial basis and reserve the right to review further bookings.

Exclusion
KIDACTIVE operate a zero tolerance policy to discrimination or bullying of any kind. If a child proves incompatible with the general well-being of a club, we reserve the right to exclude them. The four week cancellation terms and conditions will apply and no refund for these missed sessions will be made.

Limit of liability
We are committed to providing safe and supervised activities and environments. We do not accept liability for the loss or damage to property, personal injury or death of any participant unless negligence is proven on KIDACTIVE's part.

Late drop off
We leave the setting no later than 8:40am. If you arrive after this time you will be required to take your child to school. You will still be charged for this session.

Insurance
All children in our care are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.

Data protection
Information supplied on your registration/ booking form is strictly confidential and will only be used for KIDACTIVE purposes, it will not be divulged to any persons or companies not connected with KIDACTIVE.

Parent feedback
We aim to provide the best possible care for all children at all times. Please tell other parents if you are happy with your experience! If you have concerns or suggestions, please tell us; we value your feedback and use it to develop and improve our services.
